Admission in Various Hindi Courses conducted by Central Hindi Directorate

The Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has been conducting Certificate Course and Diploma Course in Hindi for the benefit of Non-Hindi speaking persons residing in India and abroad, through the medium of English, Tamil, Malayalam and Bangla. The Department also conducts Advance Diploma Course in Hindi through Hindi medium.

The Central Hindi Directorate has invited applications for admission to the above-mentioned correspondence courses from non-Hindi speaking Indian nationals as well as foreigners for the forthcoming session. The last date for submission of application form in the Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi is July 31, 2009. In respect of Certificate/Diploma Courses in Hindi a fee of US $ 50/- or British £ 30/- is charged wheras for Advanced Diploma Course a fee of US $ 200/- British £ 120/- is charged. The fee is to be remitted by crossed Bank Draft in favour of Director, Central Hindi Directorate payable at New Delhi. In case an applicant residing abroad finds it difficult to remit fee in hard currency on account of local foreign exchange restrictions, he/she is advised to deposit the fee in equivalent local currency with Indian Mission/Embassy in the country where he/she is residing and send the receipt in original to the Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi. The receipt must bear the name of the candidate and the amount equivalent to Indian currency.
